I don't see AU, there are no luster or frost breaks. It's not a good strike, or I'd be at 65. I can only presume you're getting AU from the lack of central details and the slightly odd toning pattern.

I will be submitting this coin, so we'll see in due time.

I agree with MS64 if what looks like planchet striations on the ear and hair above actually is and looks like VAM52.

Yes, they are planchet striations. Remnants from the weak strike I referred to.

Another Morgan, another correct VAM. You should charge for online attribution, haha.

Some pretty serious weakness in the central parts of both sides. That to me holds it to a 64. I like it's eye appeal though with the slight but consistent edge toning on both sides and clean (marks wise) surfaces

Fairly mark free, the weak strike is irrelevant considering it's New Orleans. I'm going to say 64.
