Well it's pretty simple, if the TSC sells more than 110 subs, then something doesn't add up.

For those who watched when they were selling the coins on the TSC, did they not show the 'number remaining' on the screen. They usually do. If so, what was the highest number? Did it sell out?

I also asked CCC about the box that come with their subscriptions, and they said it is the authentic wooden box that came with the release... Let's hope they are not lying and it is not some kind of word play.

The last number I saw was 178 items sold.
Houston....
added: On the 11 o'clock airing, they had more than 240 sold (it appears to be cumulative from show to show).
It's pretty obvious that there are more than 350 subs and quite possible the ratio is actually reversed and very few single coins were available.
IMO, this is a major blow to the trust relationship between the Mint and it's customers.

Yes, I assumed they sold a few yesterday and CCC must have sold some subs last few days, looks more like the RCM mislead the original buyers.

CCC still has 44 sets in stock. The numbers were 51 yesterday and 93 last Friday.

Big coin = big money To put in perspective: Total potential revenue on this series nearly 5 million -
I'm somewhat with Numoose on this series...in that it could have been far more enticing had they replicated in actual coin size proportionally - say, loonies and twoonie at 5 oz, 4 oz for 50 cents, 3 oz for quarter, 2 oz for nickel, and 1 oz on the dime - and the heck with the gold plating... But more significantly - what exactly is this series commemorating? Unlike the 2012 penny...why this series now?

R4mn33k,
How do you know he had 0002/1500? If he did, it wouldn't be far fetched to assume he has the first stashed away. Must be nice....

Steven did say on TV he has #1 in his personal collection and the COA from the one he's holding was #2. He and the host have been plugging the set big time! They keep pointing out: mint sell out in 3 mins/ sold on secondary market for $1K and only 1500 minted. I do agree having a more representative dimensions would be more appealing. The question surrounding official sets really does cast a shadow over the series, which started out with a Big Bang. This is very disappointing! I wish the RCM was more transparent regarding commissioned coins.

On the last show Thursday night the subs showed over 280 sold, so the thought of CCC only having 110 sets is incorrect. A five oz. version of our circulating coins are as proven by the recent demand much more appealing than recent 5 oz. smiling beavers, war of 1812, etc. the only problem as mentioned is the misleading ad by the reps, last week.

Maybe he's misleading everyone. Maybe he's posting fake numbers to try and boost sales. Is anything said by him accurate anyways? As well just because someone purchases one they could change their mind and cancel it. Maybe those aren't being deducted from the count. Either way I don't care. I bought this because it looks neat. It won't appreciate in value.

I wish I had $3300 for things that look neat. I really liked the set when I got the advanced email notice but the price over 1 year was too much for me. The confusion about mintage and boxes, as well as being sold at CCC and on TSC confirmed my decision not to get this set.
