Why is the 5 oz loonie dated 2015 if it's already out in 2014?
I bet they release another 5 oz circulation set that is not gold plated and cost half this one. (Opposite the O' Canada series last year)

That's for sure. But I wouldn't say nothing about gold plating.
But the Mint will do the set as the other coins in many variations.
The best selling model - to issue "Premium" (set, design, metal content and type) in the beginning, and later to simplify.

For example - why not the same set as 1/10oz platinum each coin (C$300), or 1oz premium bullion each coin ($80)?

And if you'll decide to collect only the stuff that will hold the value and from it to select only coins that you like?
Means - to be extremely selective++

You still will collect.... 3-4 coins a year from RCM/Perth/RAM together, which is not bad at all

It's to have all 6 coins with the same year stamped on it.

The Shopping Channel does not mention quantity of subscriptions available.

http://www.theshoppingchannel.com/T...1,E:11788369

The most you could add to the cart is 10 subs.

Steve Bromberg, host of the Coin Show, is also the owner of Canadian Coin and Currency, the only dealer selling the subscription. So the coins are coming from Canadian Coin and Currency.

MoneyPenney: Their system allow you to add several times the same item, so you can add 10 subscription every time, just go back to the item page and click on add to the cart again and again.

Canadian Coin & Currency has sold out of the single Big Coin, the Loonie.

http://www.cdncoin.com/2015-1-Dolla...32058491.htm

That's strange because they had 35 available yesterday. So they sold all 35 of them in one day? They were selling very slowly.

I wonder how accurate these inventory counts are.

@moneypenney I think their inventory count is NOT accurate, as I was able to add 8800 coins that are limited to 8500 mintage lol https://www.dropbox.com/s/7di03u39b....08.png?dl=0

I only have one wish now... that RCM boxes will really be shipped with the second coin and others with the last or second to last, as stated.

This is the only reason I'm still keeping my sub with RCM at this moment.

This is a quote from my RCM rep.

"At the bigining, we were told that there were only 350 boxes, but it turns out that there are only 350 boxes offered by the mint.

The other boxes are offered by the secondary market."

That's a pretty lame excuse!

In fact it's totally unacceptable give the mint's rep's email: "...This unique six-coin subscription is limited to only 350 sets worldwide and comes with an elegant wooden collector case, which is free when you subscribe...."

Of course when it comes to the folks at the mint, I often think they are living on another planet.

The RCM either made or had the wooden box with their logo, produced how does the RCM not know the mintage numbers and their ad is false, they would have sold out the 1500 coins regardless. To make an untrue offer to your so call best of best customers, wonder what else they would do.
