I was just wondering if this could be an error . To me it doesn't look like a ding otherwise there would be more metal pushed out away from the edges . could it be a file job . Some of these errors just keep me up at night .

Thats PMD, but is that a rim Cud on the obverse @ 2:00 or also PMD?

I don't see a rim Cud, it looks like a hit to me. The edge looks somewhat flattened.

Plus look at the rim damage itself. it is not nearly as worn as the rest of the coin.

I have also posted a similar coin to this one here on this site and have learned the lessons that you are hearing now.

Either a hit or a small start to a cut, however it would look more like a cut if it wasn't for the obverse.
