Here is my 'roughie'. I have another, but can't find it as present and it's likely to be rougher than this one. I don't know if this one has any distinguishing features. Most of the others posted here make me

Am curious HOW for example, ICCS and CCCS would grade or describe this one. it does have a dbl 5 for sure.

ICCS normally is reluctant to cert or note anything specific unless it has been in Charlton previously or in Trends. They might put a "variant" tag in the remarks. As has been stated many times on many sites, if you magnify any large cent before the mid-80's, you are going to see what appears to be "doubling" or repunching, but well within the tolerances for the Mint. They were producing utilitarian objects for everyday use, just like nails or bottles or any other everyday object for mass consumption. The manufacturing process for making the dies and punching the coins using that antiquated machinery left lots of room for error, and that was multiplied by trying to make everything last as long as they could. They weren't trying to produce pieces of art; just round things with the monarch's portrait to facilitate trade. I'm not sure that anyone has ever tried to count the number of repunched letters or digits just on the 59's alone, but it's nearly impossible to find a coin without at least one or two.
The tripled "O" in 'One" is a little hard to find, but not common either. I'd put it at about 1:30-35
