Hi,

Just received this one; graded MS 63 by ANACS.

I like the overall look of the coin. It looks nice in hand and has a nice tone. I am a bit concerned about the spot on the "E" on the reverse. Under a 10x loupe it does show a bit of green corrosion.

What do you think?

If you are posting on it, it means it bothers you.

IMHO, I would return it and look for one that pleases you.

Just my humble 2c.

Looks like a beautiful coin to me, if the price was right when you bought it, then I would happily keep it...

Yes, posting on it but ready to defend it. I am really undecided. Honestly, any type of distraction really bugs me, but I can't afford the flawless. I may be comitting myself to a life of torture: always needing a better example. Could be the affliction all collectors share, ey?

If you are really bothered by the spot, then return it. If it was my coin I would defiantly keep it.

Looks like a properly graded coin, with a very good strike. I wouldn't be troubled by the spot. If your cost was reasonable for an MS-63 I would keep it.

Looks perfectly OK to me. If I had to have one spot on a coin like this (not uncommon on a 63 grade), then that's pretty much where I'd like it - on the reverse, and away from the fields.
Rest in Peace

Johnny , It all depends on what you paid for it. If you feel you nailed it at a great price, then I would keep it.
Or if you think you paid too much, then return the coin if seller accepts it.
Me personally ; I would keep it .
