I should have mentioned it on my last post, but the $100 small size Silver Certificate I posted is a fantasy note.

I bought this 1896 Educational Ace raw from Scott Lindquist several years back. When we talked about it, he described it as a problem free, mid grade note that had been pressed. He was right on the money. It came back from grading as a mid grade note without the EPQ designation. A very nice note, and one of my favorites. I'm currently casually looking for the 1896 Educational Deuce.

Wait - that $100 was a fake?

Nice '96 SC. Miss Liberty seems to be inviting a potential harassment charge here.

Ha, glad to see this is still around. I crafted this on Photoshop a few years ago and the original post is on here somewhere. I took this image here ( http://www.numismaticnews.net/wp-co...leteface.jpg ) and fully colorized it and textured it using a $100 gold certificate and then replacing the blue '100', seal, and serial number from a real 1934 $10 silver certificate. I never got around to finishing because my harddrive with the file crashed and I lost the Photoshop file for good. I like to tinker around with Photoshop once in a while.

Still nice, even if it is just mere art at this point.

Nice SCs, Techwriter. I hadn't seen the $10 SC until now. I like it with that shade of blue ink.

I didn't like the design on the $2 SC at first but when I saw this awesome 45, it turned me around:

ron - Beautiful specimen. With the exception of the $1 Stanton and Martha notes (which I dislike in any condition), I think all US large currency is compelling in EF or better grades.
