Does it show a little. They pretty much ruined the hobby themselves the last 16 months 95% of their coins have lost majority of their value or can be had for 40% less in 6 months why would I want to throw away money on their product. Their prices are totally out of line and their production of over 300 coins a year is a joke.
That's why I am selling all my RCM products even at discounts except bullion they can take my masterclub membership and shove(you know the rest)

I think it comes with a pocket watch and will no doubt be in a cool case/display.

What watch? There is no mention of the watch in the email I got.

Yes there is a exclusive Looney Tunes pocket watch and chain that comes with it. Coin and watch inside the wooden box.

This is nothing new... the majority of mint products have been this way since the early 1970s...

I guess that is why the gold Looney Tune coin cost $50 more than the gold Superman coins ($799 vs $749).

We are paying the extra $50 for the watch.

I hope it is a good quality watch and not one of those cheap plastic ones.

This watch, if it exists, is not the first watch to be released my the RCM. They've done several watches, cuff links, etc.

There have literally been dozens of RCM branded watches but I would be shocked if it's one of the better stainless steel ones that generally sell for hundreds of dollars.

You're likely looking at something like this one from Sears ($61) except with a Looney Tunes coin theme instead of the Santa Claus coin.

No one wears watches these days anyways, everyone uses iphones and the like. I cant see this making the coins any more desirable. Atleast it wont to me.

Plus , ever try to sell a watch on ebay these days? good luck with that, too many Chinese watches selling for a buck or two.

"Pink Nurse Watch Smile Face Clip Pocket Suspension Watch Round Dial" BIN .99 cent and $1.19 shipping.

From what I know, its a pocket watch and not a wrist-watch.
Don't know if its silver though, most likely steel.
But it apparently has a raised image of the Looney Tunes in a design different from the coin.

Right , but not many carry around a pocket watch either, I can just see it, someone asks what times it is...i know I know it doesn't happen anymore since everyone has a phone, but if on the off chance someone asks you for the time, you pull out your trusty "Looney Tunes" pocket watch and look at the time....ummmmm...well ...you see where this is going.

I actually don't get your point at all.
The collectable coin comes with a collectable pocket-watch.
You're telling me that no one carries around a pocket-watch in their pocket anymore, and therefore the pocket-watch is stupid.
My question is then: are you telling me you carry around all your collectable coins in your pocket and use them as money?
Cause if you don't, then based on the same logic, collectable coins are stupid, which means you're definitely in the wrong forum lol
