Could I possibly have the fullsize originals, or is that their 100% size? Your sharpness is excellent but the white balance is all over the place and the hues can't be trusted. Time for you to hie yourself to the Photography Forum so we can fix your technique. To start, shoot the coins against a monochromatic white background while we're nailing down White Balance, and black or grey henceforth. The color of the background is affecting the camera's choice of appropriate color. If you're unaware, Google "EXIF data" to see what I already know about your camera and settings just from the information embedded in that pic. There's nothing there which in any way compromises you individually (as long as you have GPS Tagging turned off for imaging), but I know what you're shooting with and what the settings were for each image. I don't know that particular hardware intimately, and am not sure what's best to fix your White Balance problem. I *am* pretty impressed with what that hardware will do, though.

Yes dave, my photo location is off. And yes photography isn't my strong suit not to mention my right thumb numbness and slight headache lol. I've tried my wb options but only auto seems to work right. I know it's my background and lighting and angle it's just tuff for me to get all 3 right. I am willing to be taught of coarse. I'm definatly gonna need to step up my photo game for phase 5!

I don't know about your equipment, but I can voice-activate the shutter on my G3. I set it securely and say "cheese" or "click." I swear.

Ya mine has that too, I just saw it when making sure my location was off. I'm assuing that only helps for stability not color quality? Oh ya, and my thumbs but that's mostly typing so I think I'll start using voice typing too.. be ready for errors

Dave, what do u mean by full size originals? As in don't crop the sides then post or email them to you direct without going through the resizer?

The actual full-size, unaltered output from your camera. I want to play a bit and see if I can get them color-corrected, and if the originals are much larger I can also play a bit with sharpness. The ultimate goal being the clearest-possible examples of what I'm going to want to use them for as teaching tools in the future.
You should have my CCF email addy now, and it should be up to whatever the Attachment filesizes are.
