Hopefully the Mint increases mintage for the other C&C sets due to popularity of this one and then that would mean the Truman RP dollar would be the key for a long time! Idk if the mint could up the mintage if anything they will probably just lower the HH limit instead. But still these are winners no doubt in my mind at all. Wish I would have kept the EU Sac dollar now instead of selling them off...

In that link they show the original bronze medal. I still wish they could have included that in this set as they did the FDR set. They could have added a normal proof to balance it out (two coins, two medals).

I wouldn't be surprised to see the mint increase the price, especially on the Ike and Kennedy.

Well the only reason I said increase the mintage is that even if for some reason I didn't get the other three at least I would still have a couple of the lowest mintage one :P but I think it will be fine as long as people are on at noon ET.

Very interesting stuff with many facets going on right now with this set guys. This is the kinda stuff that breeds future legends. Either the us mint knew this and it's a master strategy or they dropped the ball and it was too late to change it in April/May when everyone started seeing the potential. Either way I'd bet the farm we just witnessed numismatic history and knew we were!... like 9/11 or the moon landing etc...

Oh AND think how many new pres or RP collectors this is going to create as well... the more who want this in the future the merrier! I say and this is bound to bring in more. Heck I'm even thinking of going presidential. Probably won't but its crossing my mind

My goal is to get at least one of every different coin and so I collect the Pres. Dollars and figure I would need this for a complete set. Now I have to catch up on the other RP and EU stuff too though... except gold anyways. :P

I would hope that they would lower the household limit before raising mintage and/or price. However, who knows.

Second set of 2 I ordered yesterday morning finally in shipped status!.. there was a hick up though...
On the second set I used my personal cc (business cc on first set) and I guess when I moved last year I never changed the billing address attached to it. So I get a call yesterday around 2pm (ordered at 4:45am) and the mint customer rep asked for the address attached to it as the one on file did not match and I gave her my old one thinking that's the only other it could be... it's been a little nerve racking but I finally just got the email!
So that's what they do if your billing address dosent match!

The Mint already announced a product limit for the remaining presidential reverse proofs. They cannot very well raise them but, they can lower the household limit. I would not be surprised if there is a limit of one for the next issue to reduce the profiteering that is happening with this one.
If that happens then you will probably see people who would not have ordered one buy one and flip it for a tidy profit anyway. I would. If I could buy a rarity that I could make a nice profit on to finance the purchase of another coin or coins for my collection I would do it in an instant and not have any qualms in doing so.

Yeah that is true... Which is sad because then I will only have the one set. Hope the limit is 2 so I can sell one to pay for the other at least... Because I can't afford the one set by itself! We will see

I bet the HHL will be 3, remember they do have a lot of retail customers.

I could live with a limit of three. Let's do that then :)
