I dont' think any politician should be on the US currency, living or dead. I would love to see symbols of desired American vitues; honesty, loyalty, bravery, freedom, charity, unity...etc.

In that case it would look lie a soviet commemorative coin.

The Roosevelt dime is the only American coin with a passable design - I'd prefer if you redesigned everything except the dime.

As for the Mercury dime, may I remind you that it has a big ol' fasces on it - that went out of style in 1945.

How about the Elder Roosevelt, TR? It is high time we have a circulating coin with a mustache on it!

We can get NPH to do the promotional video.

Yes, it is a movie reference. NPH, mustaches, song, and dance. If you know, you know, but no links or overt references; the overall movie is not family fare.

The only thing I'd want to see redesigned on the dime, is the "reverse" leave to obverse alone, like on the new Lincoln cents.

I'm not incurring that the new Lincoln cents look all that great. I have no problem with them, but I'd still like to see a change in the reverse of the dime (and the reverse of the half) I wish that they could have kept all of the words on the reverse of all of these dang new quarters when they came out, but I know that the words would not fit on the new quarters's reverses with all of the new designs. I still se a lot of the old 1932-1998 eagle reverse quarters, and I like the way the front of those look. I just wish all of these new quarters and $2 coin designs would STOP.
