I'm in for 2 for my collection, and maybe 3 as these make good gifts.
11 days and counting!
As others have said, I don't think it's necessary to set an alarm for this one. Same day ought to be (more than?) safe.

I do like the looks of this set. I do wish it had a silver medal. But With the ASE being a proof 30th Anniversary, I think it is a pretty good price.

Nice to finally see a photograph. I am excited to finish my set of C&C sets.

Whether or not this is the last C&C set the U.S. Mint produces remains to be seen. But this will definitely be the last one with a Presidential dollar in it.

Good eyes CelticKnot They reduced the HH limit yesterday...definitely will be around for a while Quote: A change since that earlier article includes an increased household ordering limit, raising it to five sets from one set. The 150,000 set maximum remains, as does the originally published price of $68.95.
Update: Later in the afternoon on Sept. 30, the U.S. Mint adjusted the ordering limit to 3 sets per household.

Hoping some of the people who want the 30th ASE just hold off and buy this set and flip off the medal, omp and RP - I'd pay 17 for all the rest no problem.

Too bad the ASE proof wasn't minted in San Francisco. It would have been nice if this set had a unique silver coin, or medal as in the past sets. I'll be picking up 2 sets. While this set will not sell on the first day, it will sell out faster then FDR's.

Really? FDR had a unique silver AND bronze medal...bunch of stamps, proof $1 and dime AND a limit of 20,000..AND cost $10 less..took forever to sell out The Reagan has a available elsewhere PF ASE and a bronze medal and a limit of 150,000....key point...150,000 It will be available as a late Xmas gift

But, the proof dollar that the FDR set has is not unique. They only thing really limited in the FDR set (other than the packaging) is the bronze medal. 20k is plenty of supply for those who collect reissues of presidential metals. If you want a complete Presidential dollar set, you have to buy the Reagan set.

Quote: They only thing really limited in the FDR set (other than the packaging) is the bronze medal. ...and the silver medal unless I missed it elsewhere If it is just the Rp $1 you probably can get one for less than $20 eventually. The Kennedy RP (at 50,000) can be bought for that now....150k is WAY too many

Thanks for prompting me to pull out my FDR set and take a peek at it again, FoxWoods. That's a great set.

Quote: ...and the silver medal unless I missed it elsewhere Yep, I forgot about that one. Quote: If it is just the Rp $1 you probably can get one for less than $20 eventually. I also need the 2016 proof ASE, so this set is a good deal. Plus, I just want a set to keep complete because I like Reagan. Quote: The Kennedy RP (at 50,000) can be bought for that now....150k is WAY too many Agree. I'm hoping that they don't mint all 150k at once. If so, they may never sell out. Of course there is that guy on HSN who'll talk about how valuable the Truman and Eisenhower RP's are...

In case you are wondering.... The 2016 Coin & Chronicles Set - Ronald Reagan is the last set in the series. The first line in the description on the mints web site. And yes, 150K seems like WAY too many. But it will be nice to get this series completed.
