I sent an email but still no assignment here... Edit: found a technical issue with my primary email account so I sent another through an alternate account.

Received my gift yesterday. Thank you so much santa for the beautiful 35 and 36 Indian head nickels.
They fit my collection perfectly. Will try to post pics later.
By the way my santa, I see you're from Michigan. I grew up in Lansing.

I NEED a Fort Vancouver commem. I don't collect commemoratives but I have strong ties to that place. Strange that's being mentioned. Where's the other thread about one?

Cascade- if you go back a few pages on GTP, there's a lowball, but I don't think you can get your hands on it.

The pictures that have been posted so far made me up my game. I just packed up my box and I hope whoever gets it will be happy.

We all entered this exchange expecting what the instructions said: Quote: # 3 You must agree to send a coin or banknote with a minimum purchase value of US five to ten dollars ($ 5 - 10) to the person you are assigned to. No one should bad if they followed the rules to the letter. No one should expect to receive more than the rules say... and shame on us if we do. Some people on the forum see 100.00 as pocket change and others scrimp and save to get 10.00 for coins. Its not about the actual gift and how valuable it is. The important part is the fun of getting a Christmas gift from someone on the forum. Let's face it - most of us have families who don't know enough about coins to get US coins for Christmas. With this exchange we get something for our hobby and we get some camaraderie with fellow CCF members, We all have fun seeing what other Santas thought of and sent to others. Its about the gift giving to friends - not about the gift itself.

Well said Earle. I had a lot of fun looking at coins that I normally wouldn't have if it wasn't for this exchange and because of that I felt as though I was given a gift from the person I was buying for. I got to learn something new and got the joy of examining the gift in hand before sending it on its way. I am thankful to be a part of this forum and all of those who make this forum what it is.

Well said indeed Earle.
Santa, I am finishing up my week of final exams at school this week and will be home over the weekend. I know it is late, but I will have mailed my package Monday (21st) morning.
I'll post if I have anything waiting for me at home.
