Indeed, well said, Earle. Quote:most of us have families who don't know enough about coins to get US coins for Christmas Yeah, my relatives used to get me coins as gifts. They don't collect, and they got ripped off a couple times so I usually just ask for cash so I can buy coins myself, or I let them get me coin-related merchandise such as a Red Book. I saw what others had received and stepped my game up a bit, adding some other items on my recipient's want list. I know I shouldn't have felt obligated, but I would hate to send someone the bare minimum and then receive a great and expensive gift. I packaged it up today, and it will head off to New England tomorrow- my mom is going to the post office while I'm at school, so I asked her to take it. As for what I receive, anything goes. If you are my Santa and mailed me something before I posted my want list (probably should have done that a couple days earlier), don't worry about it- I'll be happy with whatever I get. I plan to save it for Christmas to open. If it arrives at the beginning of next week, I won't know for a few days since my family and I are headed to Vancouver on Sunday to get interviewed for Nexus passes. We'll stay for a few days, not sure how many, but if my gift should have arrived then and I don't say anything, that's why.

I know of 4 coin stores there so I am confident i'll find what I am looking for! Not just tapas. Lol

Dear person who is on planet earth.
Mission succesful! The tapas, sangria, and sangre de cebolla was most enjoyable.
Oh yeah, I hope you enjoy what I picked out for you as much as I enjoyed shopping!
PS: Sadly it is not tapas or tapas related.

This should be the list If your name is missing please let me know
If you have a strike-through your name it means you have received your gift
once we are clear on the list I will remove the names of all of those that have a strike-through
Thanks Santa

Please Remember It is not the size or the Value of the gift that is important It is the spirit of giving we try to encourage. There are many "humble" members of the forum that the cost of a $5 value coin/banknote + postage is a great sacrifice.
Please do not feel bad if your gift is not as "Great" as some other person.
We want all to enjoy the experience
Happy Holidays Santa is glad so many gifts are already arriving
