Just got my gift from Santa and... Wow! Thank you so much!
I got quite a few NGC and raw coins. This includes a Kennedy half, Mercury dime, Liberty no cents, large cent and a few more. Will definitely spend the rest of my day reading up on these. I've been meaning to start a USA type set (or in this case one of every type of coin for all denominations) and this helps greatly!

My gift was mailed yesterday. It's going overseas, so may take a while to get there, but it's on the way!

Ok, so I didn't get my pics up last night but here they are. Thanks so much to my most excellent Secret Santa Gidjit for the Canadian coins:

1. 2006 Canadian Gift Set. Love the two-dollar coins and the extinct 1 cent. And I gotta admit, I even like the colorized 25 cents with Santa, sleigh and reindeer!
2. 1967 Canada Centennial (.800 Ag) Excellent toning on the obverse.
3. 1911 Canada 5 cents (.925 Ag) Such a tiny coin. Can't imagine how these didn't get lost immediately.
4. 1871 Prince Edward Island Large cent (the only coin PEI ever made)
5. 1901 Canada Large cent (Queen Victoria)
6. 1909 Canada Large cent (King Edward VII)
7. 1917 Canada Large cent (King George V)

Thank you so much for increasing my Canadian coin collection by several hundred percent!

Sorry about the poor quality of the individual coins. They're rich with patina and the lighting in my office stinks. Maybe Santa can get me an idiot's guide to coin photography next year.

CelticKnot;
i am glad you like your coins, I always like to help people complete their PEI collection and I love showing people how small our 5 cent coins used to be!
also the 1967 quarter has always been my favorite coin

I have tracked the package I sent. It says that it cleared customs in Canada on the 17th. Hope it gets to my recipient soon.

austrokiwi The Red Back Spider coin is crazy expensive. The Russian version is a good bit cheaper.

I have one of the Funnel Web silver oz coins & was wondering why your's is grey & not silver colored?

The comment in red on my post wasn't made by me. RGgoodie made it I think.

As for the coins color, I used a lighting technique that grayed out the fields but Highlighted the spider

I was on my way out so I'm not posotive but I think it is. If so I'll be all over it like white on rice a paper plate in snow storm with a glass of milk just as soon as I get back in about an hour!
