The free goose coin was also a mess, you think a pp mc or any mc really care over a run of the mill regular issue coin, if you are going to reward your best customers do something special with an unique coin. I keep asking why withhold 10% if there are any mc waiting, you promised an early tiered system, yet it seems some people were allowed to leap frog, just has to do with fairness. The RCM knows exactly how many mc there are, just get the preorders and mint to this special coin to this number, what a novel solution.

Very true. That's the reason why I question if the confusion surrounding the offering was intentional....aka a marketing gimmick which elevates both awareness and want.

Obviously RCM has the technology to determine who's a MC member or not, so it's doesn't take a rocket scientist for their data systems to accurately determine contact methods of those who are eligible.

I question why people would continue to be loyal to ANY company that cannot deliver what they promise ---- especially customers who have in the past invested substantial $$$$ into their profits. They deserve better.....

With all the good design, but 2oz silver coin with standard mintage will follow the path of Nickel Subscription - many "leftovers" as single coins, it interesting only to limited circle of collectors, none of the "hit" NCLT collectors will buy it.

Not sure, if it will be available from RCM, but sure - via dealers, priced CAD 199 and more.

Btw, ability of RCM to screw the sales for this coin compares with 2012 Penny Set with 5.000 mintage for CAD 150. Some MCs didn't get it directly from the Mint, but from day one it was possible just to call the Mint, to insist on the sale and order 3 sets.

Not really all that much difference between the 3 MC levels, 4-3-2 days advance notice. Note under "Exclusive Access to Select Coins" the window is 45 days.

Coincanuck, I take it you received an automated email which informed of the release and that's how you became aware you could order it online?

I actually first heard of it from this thread. No automated email or anything. I agree with you though, you guys should've had a chance at it, not fair from the Mint.

I haven't read all the posts to see if others have, but this morning I received an email indicating that the new M/C Silver dollar is enroute, and I should receive it by the 16th.

If so, that will the fastest yet of any coin I've heard of, Ordered, and received - EVER.

I got the coin today, too fast to believe, the coin is nice and solid, kind like it.

My coin is on the delivery truck too, that's ready fast.
