The issue of the "second in series" will set the price for the first. Now it goes up and down, depends on the i-hand availability, but after one year will be clear, if there will be demand (Glass Lady Bug after Bumblebee), or demand will vanish with the time (Summer Moon Mask after a series of not successful mask coins)

There has been very little movement for the coin for the past two weeks. Not many new or completed listings. The ones that have been sold are between CDN $600 and $700. The peak of CDN $800 has been reached and we may not see it again until the 2nd coin comes out.
Talisman Coins price of CDN$ 625 falls within the current market value range and will serve as a benchmark price for the next while. People listing the coin for $1000 or more are not going to get it as long as a big dealer is selling it for US$ 449.

The only good thing is that they probably only received maybe 10 coins.

Don't knock on Talisman.
I was able to get 3x the 5-piece Farewell Penny sets at issue. :D

CC&C distributed (sold) the coins to their VIP customers, but interesting, only 2 members reported about it.
I guess, that other (dealers) hold on it, in order to list after Christmas / New Year, cause people these days will try to avoid spending big money on hobby item.

The only one I'd get suckered into perhaps buying one is the 1967 Dollar, so long as it was reproduced the same as the original, no double dates except for 1867-2017.
Will have to wait and see if these are offered again to MC member under the same rules. I declined because I didn't like the gold plating and lack of definition on the obverse.

There is a Voyageur coin being auctioned off today. It is the first one to be auctioned off in 2 months. Very few new coins are being put out in the market as collectors are holding on to them. The last buy it now coin sold on Jan. 29 for $800. This one is at $618. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2015-2-oz-Pu...AOSwPc9WxmSo

One of my favourite coins to come out in a long time by the RCM. I will be holding on to mine for a long time.

p.s. I had chance to buy when released. I was totally blind...... lol. Sorry to say...but when it was released, you understood, that it is the copy of the 2010 SD, nothing special here. Now, you bought it cause many people, who were unable to get it, when released, "voted with the dollar" for this coin. So do you started to like it cause it "popular"? But anyway: Congrats for new coin purchase. It is nice looking one and holds the value.
