I found this in a box of cents last night and it looks like a 1960 D/D West to me. The bottom and top both have split serifs. I am still looking for a number to match it, but if you have an ideas they are always appreciated.

Welcome to the joy and the grief of 1960-D RPM identification. I didn't see a match on coppercoins though. It is a minor that is not listed yet.

Is it worth getting attributed?

Probably not. If it were in BU condition, then it would. When you have a coin attributed, they add images to their files for their future use. Sometimes they are published, other times they are not. But their prefer to have the best example to have for reference work. When an inferior coin comes in, they may want to wait for a better example because how damage was done on this example after the coin was struck. So you could do it. But is it worth being attributed? The recover money might be less than the coin is worth for attribution fees. So it should be listed sometime. You just have to wait. I've had a few attributed in the past, but I would wait till I have several BU examples. Then it would be worth it as I would get the money back again selling the other examples to serious collectors.
