I haven't ordered mine yet. At this point since there's virtually no danger of these selling out in the next 3 weeks I may just wait until October 11th so I can bundle it with the Reagan C&C set and a few other things I have in my cart.

Is the "30th Anniversary" edge lettering going to be applied to the burnished ASE's as well or just the proof version?

The FAST Act that authorized the edge lettering for the 30th anniversary ASE included the proof and uncirculated versions of the coin, but not the bullion version.

Well that mistake seems to have worked-out in my favour..... I'd enrolled to get this coin but decided the card I'd used was too close to it's limit. In attempting to swap over to a different card on the enrolment it seems all I actually managed to do was double subscribe. Well today UPS showed up with two packages, one C.O.D. to the tune of ~$27. So, needless to say I told UPS they could stuff their brokerage fees. Of course it's not certain that I'd have received a package C.O.D. with a single enrolment, but it's certain that with the mistaken double shipment I got one that *wasn't*.

I would have been really bummed to get only one coin and to have a 50% tax in the form of a UPS brokerage fee on it. So, I guess it will all work out (once US Mint get's their coin back and I get my refund, at any rate)... To the Canadians who order from the US Mint, how often is this a problem?

On Saturday the Mint notified me with tracking info for my ASE proofs.

Yet today, the coins still have not shipped out.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I got shipping notification on Saturday but assumed it wouldn't actually ship until Monday. When I checked tracking today it shows finally shipping very early today around 2am. Says it should be delivered by Saturday end of day.

My 5 coin enrollment probably won't get to me until next Tuesday or Wednesday, both because I live in CA and because I only pay the $4.95 shipping. The mint marked it shipped Sunday at 2:15 PM EDT but it wasn't scanned into FedEx in Southaven, MS until last night at 10:30 PM EDT. It left Southaven at 2:20 AM EDT today and will ride the slow boat to here. At least it looks like from the shipping weight that they won't do like they did a few years ago and only send me one coin. I had to point out to them that the package they sent weighed less than the 5 coins in their blue boxes alone would weigh without any packaging. They did the right thing and sent out the other 4 coins that I had already paid for, without any extra shipping costs. In the meantime, I am refining my macro photo setup using the Harper's ferry puck and the Standing Liberty 1/4 Toz quarter, and will post images when the ASE coins arrive.

Nope, I only paid for the 4.95 USD shipping... I was surprised to see them so soon, myself. Here are some rush (i.e. shot after dark with my indoor lights and so the white balance is way off) pics though:
