
If this were a missing clad the coin would be copper colored and where the wearing on the jaw shows the silver color, it would have stayed copper coin it would still be copper colored. The coating of what ever is on the coin will wear off the coin during more circulation. A missing clad will always show a copper color despite wear. (unless it is left moist for a time, it will turn green)
