Great story, and especially nice-looking sigs.

Absolutely thrilled to own this note as I thought I had missed my chance years ago. From the recent Lyn Knight IPMS auction held 10 days ago. An interesting aside is the C plate position note from this sheet is also listed in the census. Were the A and B notes saved too and have yet to surface? Now all I need is a $10 large size to complete the set .I purchased a $20 large size two years ago. -MV

Great sigs! Tell us about the grade if you would.

Lyn Knight on the lot description listed the grade as VF/XF. The Kelly census has this note listed as CU. I could see a fold line on the obverse so I knew it wasn't CU. I have purchased from his auctions before so I trusted his grading.
The note was also previously laminated and had a restoration. I have no idea what it looked like before, but to my eye the work appears to have been done by someone with experience.
I'd grade the note as VF with the comments laminated/restored

Thanks. I saw the CU listing in Kelly but could see that this was at least a (pressed?) 4-fold. Your VF grade seems right, but I really do like it!

Yes, folds are more visible on the back.
This becomes the oldest national in my small collection as most of the others are Series 1902 or Series 1929.

Meadowview that is a fantastic note! Congratulations on the win. Can you post this one with the $20 you have in a group photo? Be nice to see them together.

A very tough bank to find in any condition.

The two Marshall National Bank notes together. Don't remember if I shared this $10 from the other national bank in Unionville so I scanned it too.

MV - What a great grouping, thanks! Interesting how close the charter numbers are on the two banks.

Wheat - WOW. Kelly shows only 16 total notes on this bank, mostly small size. Can't be that many more by this point! Love it.

Great low charter number! Not in the old Kelly census, but comparatively few have survived judging by that high serial number.
