Hello everyone,
how would you grade this coin? I think it is quite unusual in this condition
Greetings from Germany
Alex

Hi Alex. When I enlarge your pics I don't find evidence of wear on the high points. However the numerous dings and scratches are a concern. Thus I think MS60 is appropriate.

Thank you very much!
Are there further opinions as well? PCGS graded one piece in MS61: http://www.PCGS.com/pop/valueview.aspx?s=285676
In my opinion it has less details.

I am not seeing any wear, but there are a few marks. Gold is quite soft, so with the amount of marks present, I would think MS-61. It looks quite nice!

Although, I am not convinced the coin in the link is in MS condition. I would think an AU grade on that one from those pictures (mainly because of the discolouration on and around the eagle)...

MS "details". This coin is a jewelry piece and was removed from a bezel. The prong marks can be seen at 12, 3, 6, 9 O'clock on the reverse,
