Quote:My bet is that they've minted the 50k 2017-S Proof ASE's already. I would tend to agree and I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if this isn't a sellout.

So with the HH limit lifted what do you all think. Will this set still be available come Monday morning?

Quote: Looks like only slightly over 29k sold first day Where did you get this from? The US Mint publishes production data every Tuesday at COB on their website - https://www.usmint.gov/about/produc...les-figures.Is there another site that gives interim information?

Thanks! I had checked CoinNews but hadn't looked at Coin World yet. Glad to know there wasn't some US Mint website that published this type of information that I wasn't aware of.

Quote:Well IF this doesn't sell out, wouldn't that still be a good thing for those that collect the ASE? Would the mintage ever be less than the 125,000? Still wouldn't be that different of a mintage but not sure how that would work. At this point a quick sell out would be the best for future value. It's already over the 100k mark so the extra 20k won't change it's position in terms of lowest mintage as the 95-W is still king and the 2011-S and 2011 RP are just about a 100k if you count non proofs as well. Most of the things that have kept good premiums over time were the quick sellouts which preferably would have been almost instant or at the very least first day. If this set lingers for weeks and months it kind of creates a stigma. That can certainly change as the years go by, but for the foreseeable future it generally just drives prices down barring a new product that reignites interest in that set. As far as total mintage, they more than likely have made them all. IF it hasn't sold out by next year they can keep selling them and have had products sit on the site for years. It wouldn't lower the total mintage until they decided to just move on and melt down anything unsold.

I had checked there first too. There isn't any that I am aware of other than the dealer bulk buyer option where they can load more into their cart on the webset to see how many are left, but I believe if more than 10k are left than they can't get an exact number

Quote: Just checked the you s mint site, this product is currently unavailable......... checked at 8:52 pm Today Yup, looks like the bulk buyers came out in full force today after the HH limit was lifted. May still come back like the 225th EU set did. Does anyone know how long it took for the 22th EU set to be available again after initially selling out?
