Agree with Foxwoods Man on this one. If you collect the ASEs and need/want the 17-S Prf, then you should just try and get one that is already slabbed. With the LES set going for $145 (w/ shipping), you'd have to flip the other coins in the set and clear $60-55 for your un-slabbed ASE to equal the cost of a slabbed PR69 coin, provided you can snag one at auction for $85-90. It could take awhile to flip the other raw coins and might be tough to clear enough $ as well. Seems like a lot of effort and risk when you might be able to get a slabbed coin for the same cost. The seller that FM referenced has auctioned 5 each day this month and they've gone for $76-$106.61. That seller has another 60 being sold over the next 7 days, so getting one for $85-90 could be possible. Good luck if you're bidding!!

I'm ok with having the LESPS but for any additional 2017S Proofs I'll definitely do the slabbed method or OGP Congrats.

I'll be a bidder on one of these. As I mentioned above I need one ( ASE) for my CAPS album. However, I can't save you from yourself, my friend.

They don't ship that quick, do they? I had my order confirmation right after the order was placed.

Lifting it this early pretty much guarantees that the speculators will no longer be interested.

Well IF this doesn't sell out, wouldn't that still be a good thing for those that collect the ASE? Would the mintage ever be less than the 125,000? Still wouldn't be that different of a mintage but not sure how that would work.

If the mint did not produce all 50k 2017-S Proof ASE's for the 2017 LESPS's and if they do not sell all they've produced by the end of the year, then they won't be able to produce more as they can't mint 2017 coins in 2018. My bet is that they've minted the 50k 2017-S Proof ASE's already.
