I was looking through some old notes Ive had since a child and noticed the serial number on this £1 note. How rare is it. Any ideas.

In the U.S. a solid 1 serial number would be very collectible. The UK serial is shorter, but a similar Bank of Indonesia 500 Rupiah bill sold for $46 on ebay. This ought to fetch that or more.

This note has a few obvious folds which would seriously affect the value.
Nevertheless, it is definitely collectible, and sbould have a notaphilic value that is many times it's face value.

I think it's very collectable since it's Note Number One on the Sheet.

As far as 'rarity' goes, there is only one note with that prefix and number on the planet.

Put it on ebay for a $3 open and $3 postage and watch the bidding rise, solid number notes are collectible.
