Remember folks, the point of "Coinaholics" is to encourage MORE coin buying...NOT LESS !......
It's only a "problem" when we don't have enough coins or can't make a purchase. THAT'S the type of treatment offered here !....Other members WILL offer you "fixes" on many different coins if your outside avenues have been temporarily roadblocked !

Now that's what we're talking about !......Welcome aboard !...
Forget those house payments and other bills........
HE WITH THE MOST COINS IN THE END .....WINS !...
You see, as stated before, it's like a "crack house" where we all come to get our fix !....Woooo Hooooo. We encourage and bask in the "sickness" here at "Coinaholics"........it's the complete OPPOSITE as the other well known "AA" or Betty Ford splinter groups......
ahhhhh......

If it is quantity alone and not necessarily total value, then I think Coppercoins wins!

AHHHHHH,

An EXTRAORDINARY day for me! Not only did I get my 1916 D Mercury dime back form PCGS, I got FIVE BEAUTIMOUS Walking Liberty half dollars from Jason in the same day! THANKS Jason! And if THAT ain't enough, when I was checking out at the store, the cashier was out of 5s and 10s, so I got a bunch of ones. When I checked THEM when I got home (I check nowadays for star notes), I found FIVE consecutively serialized crisp 2006 year one dollar bills! Yup, John's a VERY happy camper today!

Rest in Peace

I definitely need to come. Lately I've been trying to utterly grab every good deal that I see. Recently I offered 270.00 on a Barber dime that I thought was 1895O, was really 1896O. No excuse though, I was tired and being stupid, will never bid when tired and stupid again. The seller had a return policy though and recognized my mistake because he probably figured I'd find out tomorrow and retract it or just return the thing.

Got a nice order from the Mint in couple days ago.....
Qtr. Proof set
Qtr. Silver Proof set
2008 Sac's P&D...two each
2008 Kennedy rolls
2008 Uncirc. SAE
2008 Proof SAE's (2)
2008 Pres. Proof Set (to crack for album)

AND...my dad offered to see if he could fill any holes in my 1909-1973 Lincoln album.....

BUT....I haven't bought any "Classics" for 2-3 months......and I'm just still walking around in pain with an air of annoyance.......the sickness will win again soon, and i'll be making some kind of Classic coin purchases very soon......almost recouped some "recent expenditures" and then as soon as Prethen is ready !

OK, I'm going crazy now. I missed last month's coin show for the Indy 500 and now I have to wait until June 29th. I keep resisting stopping by my fav coin shop. I put a few ebay bids in, but got beat out by over-payers. I'm going on two months now without a coin purchase.

One good thing has come of this, I've now saved-up a giant pot of $$$ to spend at the next show. I'm going into the next show loaded for bear and I'm planning a 4-5 hour stay. I should come back with a bomb load of coins.
