It's was a great deal! I received a total of 91 Laminations from him with the lot! I bought them off of him on CCF selling thread. Errers and Varietys. Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 07/25/2018 7:07 pm I have a very hard time with so-called laminations on this late era LWC's. Because of the reverse not filling out this is indicative of a defective planchet, a portion was missing or damaged in the planchet production phase. "DE" lamination is the correct term when a portion has come off a coin whose alloy has been improperly mixed. This was damaged during extrusion(rolling of plate stock). The improperly prepared(annealed) causing a striation of the coin material(lamination) and if that "falls apart", it is a "delamination". This coin appears to show no striation, hence no lamination to form a delamination. Conclusion then that planchet was defective from manufacture. Check weight, may be slightly underweight, most likely negligable. Just a defect, not lamination. Edited by Crazyb0 07/25/2018 7:09 pm Report this Post to the Staff
