Coop is right. Cuds only affect the rim of the coin. This is a pretty common area for die chips or flaking on the LSC's

I don't think that's called a Cud. I think it's some type of plating/bubble/die chip issue. Those things are very common on those shield cents. I think Cuds are on the rims of coins.

Yep. Like Waynoah83 said, that is the most common area for die chips to develop on LSCs.
