Does not have full stepd but it's in pretty good condition minus a little damage I found it in my change jar .CAN anyone give me more information and what grade D0 you think this might be and is it worth getting grade)d thanks
No. Looked at ebay just now. An MS-65 (PCGS) example is being offered for $24.64. That is the cost in grading fees and postage. Not a great deal.
Is it worth saving?
Certainly. You can't buy anything for a nickel today.
Condition?
Need better photos, but I detect a bit of mint luster remaining.. That makes it in the XF territory.
When the silver coins were replaced in 1965 many people saved 1964 and earlier Jefferson nickels mistakenly thinking that they were also silver. This helps explain the rarity of a nickel older that 1965 showing up in circulation.
