Hi all,

As you know, I'm kind of new in the Coin World and ask for your help.

I have two Morgan dollars 1889S and 1892S that I want to submit for grading but I'm not sure if its worth the time and money?

The 1889 isn't genuine so no. The 1892-S is very common in those grades and with the damage has a low value, so no on that as well.

Why do you say the 1889 is not genuine?

I agree with Grape. For starters, the 89 date font is wrong.

Wow!
I'm impressed.
I would never have spotted the 88-S as fake.
My only excuse is that I don't collect Morgans and therefore am not familiar with the details.

Try to shoot for at least a $150 value on coins you are submitting for grading. The 1892-S is low grade and heavily damaged, and probably would not bring more than $30 at auction.

Agree on the 1889-S. The date and lettering font and placement is wrong on the date and lettering - counterfeit. The 1892-S is suspect also, but even if genuine, it has no numismatic value with all the damage done.
