Unlike my AWESOME large cent this one is real folks.

I've been toying with Barber quarters in lower grades as cheap as I can get them. I actually needed this common date and caught the boss in a good mood. He gave it to me for nothing.

I have a local dealer who is always putting Barber coins in the junk bins. Its always a great to see what dates in-up there.

About a week ago I picked up an 1894 for $3. It's in fair condition. Amazingly, I got it at an antique mall, were almost every coin was so far overpriced as to be a joke. The same guy had Washington silver quarters for $3.85 each, which was a "great deal" considering the prices on other items. I remember seeing a clad kennedy for $5. 40% silver clad kennedy's were like $7+. Common date Ike's in circulated condition were $6.
