My find for today is this common coin with some uncommon feature. Can a line this long be a die break?

@pa, that looks like a linear plating bubble to me. You might be able to depress some portions with the tip of a wooden toothpick.

Thank you, Spence, you nailed it! Lieu of toothpick the tip of a small pair of scissors did the trick!

It is a linear trail gas bubble. You should not use anything metal, that's why a wooden toothpick was recommended.

Thank you John1, you should have told me this sooner! Now my $100,000.00 coin worth only $99,000.00!
No, seriously, the tip was not sharp and I was very gentle! But you are right, I'm going to get some toothpicks, just in case!
BTW, what do you think about the MADs, especially those double secondary lines at the TRUST? They don't look like as flat as a regular MAD to me!

I'm more interested in what the experts say about the doubling of the logo.

On the motto, you can see how some devices are smaller from over polishing. The areas that look wider, are referred to as DDD. ( Die Deterioration Doubling) so with the two die events and the linear plating issue, there's no premium for these. Just an educational find to share with other new ones you will instruct.
