Good morning everyone. I have this 1963 (P) Roosevelt dime in an uncirculated mint set. It appears that he has an earring. Has anyone seen this before? Is this a variety?

If it is raised, it may be a small die chip, if it is incuse, it has taken a hit.
In either case it is a spender.

Recommend spending it for nothing less than the silver melt value. Thanks, Doug.

Showing a lot of die polishing on that area. Almost looks like a rotated die clash reverse? Feeder Finger Damage would be W-E on the central areas. (Thus weakening the nose area and upper lip) Machine Doubling also the west side of the bust.
