1982 LMC Errant Mint Mark?

I've seen another post on here with a similar inquiry and their coin looked similar but maybe not as clear as this one. Could this possibly be misplaced mint mark and if not what am I looking at? Thanks

I see a die chip on the number 2, but nothing that looks like a mint mark.

If it's a PB would not the toothpick have confirmed it? It's solid and really just looks like a tilted D. Maybe I should just bore it out on the drill press and get to the bottom of it

I'm thinking die chip--given the posted pics. An accurate weight (to 2 decimal places) would tell us if its a copper cent, or zinc core.

Not a misplaced mint mark. Either a die chip or trapped hard debris during the copper plating process.

Looks like raised up zinc rot, which would more than likely be pretty solid. Definitely not a mm though.

A die chip or a plating blister. Both of these can be looked up at error-ref.com by searching for them.

Thanks guys. It's 2.58 g so not copper. Must be titanium right? Start the bidding. Really though thanks for the input

Split plating. (Note the gray color) Swells when oxygen gets to the zinc. Spender.
