*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

I have this coin and the year appears to be either 1992 or 1962 but the line on the third number is connected and appears to have happen when struck.can anyone help me out here.

It's a 1992 - D Roosevelt dime.
There is damage on the tail of the second 9 and a scratch above that gives it the appearance of it being a 6.
1962 - D dimes were made of 90% silver and they have the mint mark on the reverse, to the left of the bottom of the torch.

I would classify it as heavily damaged.

It is PMD. The metal just got moved around from the damage.
