So here it is:

Thank you!

Yesterday's accounting of 20-29% has been updated with coins seen up to this point.
Anyone got a lead on 26% (3 deniers 6 grains =0.260) or 27% (3 deniers 8 grains = 0.266)?
I've seen one or two of each in medieval Low Countries, but all uncommon types.

Are there any coins with 26 or 27%?

When we switch to the next level down, I do have a 19% ready to pop in.

Numista also mentions a 0.270 double mite from Namur. Judging by previous descriptions I'd say that 0.270 seems a bit too high for a double mite... in any case it's probably not a particularly common coin either.

Thanks for pointing that out j1m. GH catalog says that should be 2.6% so I will get it corrected.

I just put in an offer on one of the 26% types.

Unlike "How Far Back" we don't need to get all the compositions before advancing to the next slice.

Paralyse's Westphalia 10 centimes appealed to me because of my French heritage so I've got a 20 centimes on order.

Not much 26 % from France, but that seems to become covered anyway. For 27 %, there are a number of French royal medievals. I have none of them, but in case someone sits on one . . .

3 d. 8 gr. (0.266):
Philippe VI, double tournois 2nd type, 1st em., 1348: https://www.cgb.fr/philippe-vi-de-v...69695,a.html
John II, blanc/gros aux quadrilobes, 1st em., 1354: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces180338.html
John II, gros au lis, 2nd em., 1358: https://www.cgb.fr/jean-ii-le-bon-g...48850,a.html
Charles VI, florette, 5th em., 1419: https://www.cgb.fr/charles-vi-le-fo..._0792,a.html
Dauphin Charles in the name of Charles VI, florette, 6th-7th em., 1419: https://www.cgb.fr/dauphin-charles-..._0603,a.html
Charles VII, blanc aux 3 lis, 3rd em., 1426: https://www.cgb.fr/charles-vii-le-v..._0834,a.html

3 d. 9 gr. (0.270):
John II, gros à la queue, 1st em., 1355: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces311636.html

There are a few more in Duplessy, but they seem to be too rare to find a picture of. Note that it is important to have the precise emission, earlier emissions will typically have more silver, and later ones less.

Purchased but not yet in hand (and not yet in Numista, though N#98269 differs only in the mint), this undated 1 groot coin of the County of Holland (1506-1520) is 26% silver (0.259).
How-Low-On-Silver-Content-Below-70%-Can-You-Go?
The obverse legend is MO ARG ARCHID AVST DVX BG CO H for "Silver coinage of the Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy and Count of Holland." I guess Emperor Charles V was too modest to use his name

And, since we still have a hole at 46%, this undated (1521-1555) 1/2 real of the Duchy of Brabant N#44048 in the same shipment, will fill that gap (this one is a fairly common type). Interesting transition from gothic (the first coin) to modern lettering (this coin) during the reign of Charles V. I think this transition was going on in many parts of Europe (we will also see this over the next few weeks in "How Far Back"). Also interesting about this coin is that it was struck for all parts of the "Spanish Netherlands" (Brabant, Flanders, Gelderland, Holland, Namur and Overijssel) with identical design and legends, with only the mintmark differentiating the province.

We've now got 9 of the 10 possible compositions in the 20-29% range.
Let's give one more day for anyone to come up with 27%. I will post the revised comprehensive list tomorrow, then we move on to 10-19% on Friday. Several contributors have already mentioned they have contributions, so it will be fun to see what appears!

It's quite a list, tdziemia! There will probably be slim pickings in the 10% - 20% range. I've got one common one. Also a few ancients that are billon, but without an XRF their composition will remain a mystery.

Yeah, I think it will get tougher the rest of the way. But in every slice thus far, we have done better than I ever imagined! I think at least five compositions are "in the bag" for the next slice: 10% (a common 20th century North American coin), 12.5% and a couple of others that have been mentioned in the last few days.

We'll see!
