Thanks for that update tdziemia. Good to know that INN XIII P M A II is the probable legend - which puts it at 1722/23.so a different year than the 1721 coin. So that lends to the thought that the 1721 dated coin could also be from Gubbio mint and be a 1 year type.. Would this be a different enough coin to warrant a separate Numista reference? My photography for these isn't great - they have a heavy patina and are difficult to capture. I'll keep trying on that
I've also noticed that KM100 (in my version) actually references Clement XI rather than Innocent XIII and then KM101 goes back to Innocent XIII. Not sure why it bounces around like that.
A follow up question is - is there a Krause 1701-1800 edition that includes Papal States coins for the Rome mint before 1738? The 1st and 5th editions apparently don't unfortunately.

Good catch on KM-100 being for the earlier ruler. It probably means that your undated type (Anno II) is meant to be KM-101. I will look in my KM later today. I forget which edition it is.
I submitted the Guubbio half baiocco of Innocent XIII as one listing with some variants, but noted to the referee for Papal States that he may want to look at splitting it. When a country has a referee in Numista, that's their prerogative to make that call.
I searched on acsearch for any baiocco denominated coins struck at Rome by Innocent XIII and came up empty, so combined with the absence in KM, I am guessing there weren't any. It seems Rome used the quattrino for small change, and the outlying places (Ferrara and Gubbio) used the half baiocco.
Lastly, these identifications of some of your scarcer types have led to the addition of at least a half dozen new listings on Numista, for which I'm grateful. You would think that the 1600+ listings there for Papal States would make it pretty complete, but I guess not!

Great to hear that the thread is being of additional use. The Quattrino from Bologna featuring the rearing lion motif seems to have been the workhorse unit of currency for quite a while. According to Numista it was first issued in 1604 (Clement VIII), though I appear to have an example dated 1603, and the last dated issue was 1758 (Benedict XIV). Quite a run for a design where the only change was the date. Given their nature, examples are usually well worn. This particular one is from 1751.

My latest add is this Paul IV ND (1555-1557) 1 Giulio showing Paul standing, open book held upward in left hand, sword held in right on the reverse. A variant showing Paul holding a closed book was also minted. It's my first coin from this Pope. The obverse shows the Papal Heraldic achievement which was based on the Carafa family arms. This one is on Numista - https://en.numista.com/113632

This is a modest little 1858 5 Baiocchi from Pius IX. It really should be easy to obtain one but it's the only example of the type I've seen in any of the online auctions for a long time and I do check most of them fairly regularly
