Since no subscriptions are currently available for the 2026 Congratulations Set, it appears that I'm going to have to do my best at noon on January 26th in order to keep my ASE set complete.

I'm glad I 'foresaw' this coming a few last month when the partial list was released - I 'had' to get the subscription at that point, thinking that if the mint produced a NORMAL Philly ASE, I could just stop the congrats one.

Mintage Limit: 60,000 Product Limit: None Household Order Limit: 1
Mintage limit has changed from 55,000. Let's see if this one will be unique in 2026.
It certainly will cost a pretty penny this year (no pun intended).

Quote: Mintage limit has changed from 55,000. On this set, it's been 60k from the start. And it's still 60k. At what point was it 55k? The Congrats set has always been somewhat limited. Now that it's actually a rare coin, not just the set, everyone is going bandwagon on it. Almost like what we had in 2017 with the S proof.

I looked around on this thread for that quote. Cptbilly quoted that number. Research at the mint website leads me to believe he was quoting the mintage of 25RF, the 2025 Congrats set. That set, as typical, was the 2025 W proof, not a unique ASE like this year. That's never dissuaded me from collecting this series; I do have every yearly issue of that set. Again the only exception to the Congrats set having as W proof was 2017, when it was an S proof (in the Congrats set and Limited Edition set). The Congrats set returned to the W mint in 2018, but the Limited Edition set continued with the S. Prior to 2017 the Limited Edition set had a W ASE, with all the other coins being S. https://www.usmint.gov/congratulati...25-25RF.html

Actually, now we're back at 55k - product limit, mind you, as the mintage limit is "none". This means that the US Mint can easily release another 'P' proof eagle later in the year if they so wish. Edit: My bad, looked the wrong release year.
The current price is $175 and unless something drastic happens it probably won't change until the release date of Feb26.
Should I keep my subscription? $175 for 1 oz of silver, no matter how low the mintage is, is just plain ridiculous.

Agreed on the price. Disagree on the mintage limit. I think you are somehow finding the 25RF info, not 26RF. I just made another screenshot I can post, just did this a few minutes ago:

If you missed out on subscribing to this set I would get on the "Remind Me" list
Once the word gets out about the new price I'm sure at least 25% of the people on that list will cancel their subscriptions
