well, we didn't compromise on the purchase.
does anyone know if you don't buy when you get the offer that you've been selected to buy, will you get selected again or have another chance to buy them?

Quote:Does anyone know any AP still selling the 5oz ATB, beside FideliTrade? Don't know. These things have been almost impossible to keep up with. There might be some yet to go on sale but seems there's a mad scramble every time they do. Again, I'm not positive but if you passed on your first opportunity I certainly wouldn't expect another shot at the 2010's.

dang! i felt it was unfair because I did not receive the email notification until late monday evening saying I had till midnight. assuming it meant for my timezone which was PST. so I had like 4 hours. problem was, my wife did not feel comfortable with spending that much. I even suggested we put it on the CreditCard. call us old fashioned, but we just do not like having debt. ANY DEBT anyways, it was just such a short window to discuss it and then buy it. although later on, she did see the profit potential in buying these at such a cheapo price ($875) assuming like you said shipping was $90 or something... i mean, you are right. we would have at least gotten our money BACK. but not knowing which grade you will receive is pure LUCK..then having them sell on ebay, not too hard. anyway, I know there will be other investment opportunities down the road. maybe the 2011's will be cheaper?

Your right!mcm would have purchased your set for $1450 and you would have profited $575 immediately,do to the one per house hold limit they are buying up raw sets in hopes of getting higher grades from the TPG for more profits oh well maybe next time the ap's start to sell you can get in on a set!

Quote: And anyone who wants to become an AP may do so, all you have to do is meet the requirements. When the first AGE came out in 1986, with a $1.5 million minimum order, Silvertowne had cash in hand for $7 million worth. They wouldn't sell to him because no coin dealer in the US had a $10 million net worth. Yet they'd sell to places like Amex, even though one of the rules was you had to make a 2-way market. I can imagine: buy $200, sell $400.

Do you know any other AP selling the 5oz silver ATB Quarter, beside FideliTrade? I want to put my purchase on my credit card (12 months no interest) but FideliTrade doesn't accept CC. Thanks.

Hey SDcoinguy, if SD stands for San Diego you would get popped for $85 in Calif sales tax plus $99 shipping from A Mark.

Thank you for the info, parkquarters.
Follow up question: Do you know what's Coins-n-thing's price for the 5 coins set (including shipping); if so, how much total do I expected to pay "out of the door"? Thanks again.

It's $1100, but includes $6 face of Barbers.
