Visited the shop today and worked on plugging holes in my circulated Mercury dime set. Sorted through the junk box. Today (silver @ $28.75/oz), 90% silver was selling at $20.75 times face value, so dimes were $2.075 apiece.

Found 39 dimes to add to the set and a 1918-D Buffalo nickel for about $95 altogether.

Got lucky and found a couple of dimes that are worth a little above melt: 17-D, 25-D, 31-D and 31-S. I also found a 1905 Barber dime which they let me take at melt as well as a Seated Liberty dime with the date scratched up a bit... that one they would not let go at melt :)

I also came across the odd coin photographed on this thread: https://goccf.com/t/78263

Here are pics of the Mercury album in its current state. (I have a 45-Micro-S squirreled away somewhere... I could add it in there.)

Nice picks! The wife and I went today to the shop also. She picked up four ASE's for $30 each.
