I am having a hard time with taking pictures. and I would like to get my collection insured, anyone heard of,
"Rare Coins of Raleigh,"? The webpage is pretty good, and I like what they have to say in the employee section. Can anyone suggest a coin shop in the Raleigh area?
I'm not having a good day, LOL> suffering from information overload and not enough solutions to new issues. What's really the most frustrating is y'all have been so good and helpful. I know if I could do my part, by posting the pictures, you would be able to explain all that's confounding me.
I have to say, I love sitting with the glass, and just looking them over best. I like the whole VAM search, I don't even try and compare them right now, it's fun to look over each feather and letter and wave of hair to find a mysterious mark and wonder if this is a die mark, of a scratch.

By all means try calling this shop and tell them what you have. Ask if they would be willing to take a look. Most dealers will give you a basic appraisal for free unless you have a large collection or require a written report. You should be able to get a feel for their honesty and knowledge level pretty quickly.
