Picked this one up today in a trade.
It cost me a 1943P Jefferson nickel and $10 USD.
I feel like I came out ahead. I don't think it has been
cleaned but I'm no expert. There is some staining so probably
not worth more than Spot but I wanted it

Circulated, common-date coin worth about $22. I'm assuming the nickel was not high grade so it would be worth a buck or two. Sounds like you got a good deal!

Maybe worth a touch over melt value and unless your War Nickel was MS, you did come out ahead.

No the nickel was no where near MS.
I recently found 2 while roll searching and I kept the better
Of the two and decided to trade the other.
