I was breaking my 2011 mint and proof sets to put in my Dansco's
Wow .. some of them really look good.

I know the state parks ATB Quarters are only in the second year,
But this is really a nice looking album, with the P,D,S and S mints.
I think it will be one of my favorite sets when it is done.
I am really liking the new designs and the quality of the coins.

What I did notice, with the Jefferson nickel and Sacagawea dollars the 2011 coins filled the last holes. So I guess Dansco will have to come up with the next page, has anyone tried to get a new page for these two albums?

Also the Presidential dollar set is starting to take shape with five
years worth of coins. For m,e in this set, I am wishing they still
had the satin finish coins. I fill my albums with coins from mint sets, now can really tell the difference.

I did the president dollars in a P and D mint only Dansco. But I do have all the proof dollars, so I am thinking about getting a Dansco president date set album for just the proofs .. is anyone doing it this way?

I think the design of the State Quarters improved as that program progressed, and I think the ATB series started with even better designs than the State Quarters ended with. The are creative, attractive, diverse coins, and they are going to get some folks hooked on collecting.

One of the few good things about a Whitman Classic Album. Most are made to hold excessive quantities of pages and many blanks available. For example I'm up to 9 pages in the Lincoln Cent Albums. Same with many others. I usually put two sets in each Mercury dime, Indian Head cent, Indian Head Nickel Albums.
For proof only Albums I put them in 2x2's and then into those plastic pages that hold 20 of them. This is in a 3 ringed binder. Using this system it becomes easy to move them if a new one is added, pages can be added or removed easily, no limitations on quantity of anything since all it takes is to get a larger 3 ringed binder.
For quarters I lost interest after the State Quarters. Normally I make many duplicate sets of each type of coin but with Quarters I made one set of the State ones and now no more Quarters. Now parks and probably next one for each neighborhood in each city in each state and then each street in each.................

The Dansco Kennedy half with proof (8166) also will require a new page for 2012 and the Dansco Presidential $ with proof requires the second book (8185). Going to need to buy a lot of supplies next year.

GoldRush58: I checked several websites and I don't see new Dansco pages for 2012. The Pres $ 2012-2016 books have been available.

I have a date set Whitman album (with sliders just like the Dansco).
I use this to put my Presidential Proof dollars in. It's REALLY nice....... and BLUE ! .....

I don't have the same enthusiasm for the Presidential P & D though.
I keep current with some "date set folders" for my daughter, my nephew, and myself.....but just for fun really....and I'm not caring too much about using folders for those......toning or whatever.

I suppose I do have them all in Uncirculated Mint Sets though (I kinda forgot that they "are" contained in the yearly Sets that I buy every year.....so....I guess I already HAVE them in P & D ! LoL Ha Ha.... maybe someday I might get the Dansco for both Proofs and Uncirculated (and extra page for the Satins) after all......though I was only intending to do the Proofs, if I have em' all......why not do a "complete" Set right ?
I'm just not all that big of a fan of the "edge lettering" crap.

I do, however, like the Sacagawea's and the Native Dollars so much that I don't care on those !
