Awesome! If I had to choose between NP7 and the 25th Anniversary set, the set wins hands down. Would love to see it less than the puck, but I guessing it'll cost slightly more due to the additional number coins, even though the intrinsic weight is the same. Worth waiting for!

Quote: I cannot believe that I am actually thinking about buying this set I can ! ....... Because it's going to be (potentially valuable) and it IS one of those "special" things that come out only once in awhile. And it WILL be one of those "must have" deals for any YN's who happen to be growing up right now (in your house JB ... ) He's GONNA want one ! ...... And I'm going to try my "two-fer" collecting theory again, of course. Which is, one to keep, and one to "possibly" sell one day if the need arises, or it becomes too irresistible to not sell one. I like this theory, because even if I don't ever sell one, and this becomes quite the must-have item...... I'll have TWO of them in my collection ! ..... But, I still have a feeling that, despite Silver spot price dropping, this Set will have a mark-up that will have the listing price -- with shipping and handling, right at $300.00 bucks, at least. (they're going to want some good profit money for that Reverse Proof and the S mint) ....

I wonder which of the FIVE ASE's will be " the" coin of the Set ? ... The "S" mint ? .... (this will be the first time since '92 that there was an "S" on a ASE !) The Reverse Proof ? .....(only the second time they've done this) Or will it be "the Set" and not the individual coins by themselves ?

Okay that kinda looks like a screen shot from the Mint's web site but I can't find it anywhere...

"Price to be determined" even the mint is kinda shaky on the fluctuating price of precious metals. Regardless of the actual price, these things are going to fly off the shelf. I am setting some time aside to be able to get in, order, confirm, and get out of the website. I wonder if they are going to decrease the limit oer household? "A limit of five (5) sets per household is in effect for the first week of this product's release. At the end of this period, the United States Mint will re-evaluate this limit and either extend, adjust or remove it."Why do they wait so long to ship these things? I would guess that these are already minted, mounted and ready to roll. Delivery to your porch by Christmas with a potential for quick-turn to ebayers? I would guess that some people have their ebay presale listings ready to post once they receive confirmation from the Mint that their order processed. "Shipping is expected to begin in late November 2011."

As long as the price is in line with other ASEs. Do you think it will sell out in the first week?

There is already at least one ebay presale listing, $5000 for 5 unopened sets! The mintage limit is missing from the new mint page, could be an oversight or perhaps they are rethinking that number. The late November shipping date is probably either a fudge on the blue box delivery or a PBGS date set because they don't want to hire any temp help to ship these. It could also be from the Philadelphia mint, no idea what their current capacity is for minting the reverse proofs, WP and SF shouldn't have any problem pumping out the uncs and the bullion coins account for only a day's production (2 days if they up the mintage to 250,000 like the 2006 sets).

With a mintage of (just) 100,000 and being this close to Christmas, it's almost a sure thing that it will sell out the first day, if not in a matter of hours, with a potential computer system crash at the mint.
