Great fun prowling the bourse at the
ANA Philly show ... I picked up three circulated classic silver commemorative ... pleased to share them with you.
Forgive the poor photos. After watching Ssuper Dave in Philly ... well ... makes me realize how poor my efforts at photography are.
1933-D Oregon TrailMy circulated type set contains a VF20 Oregon Trail (1926-S) .... so I did not really
need this coin ... it just was impossible to pass up. Mintage of 5,008 examples. I believe this is one of very few 1933-D Oregon Trail that ever saw circulation.
The coin has much more luster than my photo shows ... I grade a problem free AU50.
1935 Connecticut TercentenaryNice downgrade for me. I grade VF30 ... which would place this example as one of the lowest ever certified by PCGS if it were submitted.
I really enjoy Henry Kreis design of this coin ... and viewing his magnificent
Charter Oak in this grade is spellbinding (at least it is to me).

And .... best of all ...
1938 New Rochelle This is a very tough coin to find in circulated condition. PCGS has certified a total of 2 examples below AU ... lowest known is certified at F12 and owned by you-know-who.

I grade this New Rochelle at XF45 ... with some luster remaining in places and nice original surfaces.

With this addition I am now down to
four holes in my Dansco 7094.
