clairhardesty While I hear what you are saying I have 2 orders 1 @12:05 that showed Shipped @7AM this morning my 2nd order was @ 12:08 it is in stock and was 483 orders later. Any order @1:07 must have been thousands behind mine yet it is showing shipped
a couple hundred orders I would say you are probably correct but Thousands Not so sure

See now I don't get that, Jakeman just posted his order that was placed on 6/18 shipped already? How is that possible when people who ordered on 1st day are still waiting. Doesn't make sense that's really not FIFO!

I got a tracking # as well, so mine is really shipped.  I took that survey, sounds like the mint wants to do something with S-mint ATB Quarters. I could really care less about those because I don't collect them. Give me a UHR silver eagle! Sell me Kennedy proofs by thenselves instead of making me buy a SET that I mostly don't want!! That would make me happy.  |

Foxwoods Man Your order and mine placed @ 12:08 on June 7th must have been given to the same picker  Probably a union worker that decided to leave early on Friday, and the rules don't allow anyone else to pick his orders |

wif99, you might be on to something there. PBGS, even though it is a private, for profit business, is probably at least as bureaucratic as the mint in such matters. Ever since taking over the fulfillment duties in early 2009, PBGS has resisted following the mint's SOPs. They had their way of doing things and it did not seem to matter what the contracts said they were to do with regard to customer interface. "We honor FIFO as much as possible in shipping", "we don't charge your CC until we ship", "you get a free upgrade to expedited shipping on all silver, gold, and platinum purchases" and other mint standards have all been either ignored or begrudgingly adopted only as much as needed to get the mint and customers off their backs.

My two late orders, on 7/3 and 7/5 have had their expected shipping dates changed from 10/31 to 7/27. They are still backordered but now basically claim to be in the same shipping group as my other two orders. The two early orders have gone to in stock and reserved, the 6/23 order still has the cancel box, the 6/7 order has been charged but not shipped.

MY 6/22 order still has the cancel box as well, I'll probably see these coins on ebay before mine actually get a tracking number. I hope that happens, I'll buy another set off ebay and hopefully the cancel box is still up, then I can cancel it! |

My final day order with 10/31 expected date changed to 7/27 but not charge yet. Maybe they did mint too many to begin with and so they decided to do the coin and currency set, or they had a large order cancel on them after hearing about this new offering. Just guesses.

My final day 2pm order has changed from back ordered expected to ship 10/31 to back ordered expected to ship 7/27 and I did NOT pay extra for expediated shipping.

I would assume that since they had 3 separate ship dates, and they don't charge your CC till its about to ship... There may be a lot of declined CC's and surprised people when the mint charges all 3 ship-dates on the same day. This could also keep the mintage of the RP even lower than expected.
