EFLargeCents Pillar of the Community United States 1304 Posts	Posted 02/22/2013 1:30 pm I went to my LCS to pick up a couple rolls of silver War Nickels. So far I have purchased 4 rolls. Each time I buy some I set aside all the 1943 P's and today was my lucky day. 1943/2 Since these come out of a bucket and are mostly well worn or scratched, I was even more pleased to see that this one only has a verdigris problem! It even has some luster! I don't have a camera capable of getting a clear picture of the date, but in the fuzzy zoom in you can make out the 2 right where it should be. In hand it is much more clear under magnification. The doubling is everywhere on the 1943/42 variety. There is none on the OP's coin. The photos are clear enough to prove this is not it.
