Found 4 Coins, I Can't Identify Them

FVRIVS RVFVS Pillar of the Community United States 3447 Posts	Posted 08/16/2013 2:04 pm The 3 green ones look like they could be helped by a long bath in distilled water (1 week or even a few months) and some light brushing with a brass brush. Properly done (oh so slowly) you might add some real eye appeal. Which with ancient coins very much adds value. The first one which does look like the Roman Emperor Philip I may be significantly helped but the process may take 6 month or more. Cleaning ancients requires much patience but the fast method is almost always the worst way to go. Report this Post to the Staff
