Few things baffling me as I consider diving further into the hobby

- are they auto penned or actual signatures?
- it's my understanding that you can choose different labels... So where do these come from, I don't think they are an option on a PCGS submission form?

I believe theyre actually signed but dont hold me too that.

You can get different labels from PCGS but unless they run a special like they did for the 2013 ASE sets you have to make a bulk submission to get one which is a 100 coins or more. They may relax that in the future but as of now they basically all come from the big sellers or someone who picked through a bunch of coins to resell.

They are actually signed. I can confirm this based on first hand knowledge.

Ok that makes sense... So even with a PCGS membership I would still have to buy any signed slabs that I wanted. that's kinda frustrating

As of now thats the case unless you wanted to start doing bulk submissions. If I had to guess theyll probably make the different labels more available at some point in the future but since the labels are signed by hand unless you have a personal connection to the people signing them those are always going to be a special circumstance type thing

I had a Lyndall Bass 2010S signed PCGS. It was hand signed by the designer herself. I actually wondered why she would sign a PR69 and not sign only 70's.
