This is one that I sat aside from the last 2 rolls I picked up at the bank last weekend. I see a lot of what looks like flow lines and a spike coming out of John's ear. Is this some sort of Greaser with a die chip?

I think I am seeing Die Flow, common on Late Die State coins.
Yours seems to be an excellent example of it.

That is a beautiful example of a coin with really really heavily worn dies! Not really worth much monetarily, but a great teaching example.

I am in the camp of worn out dies -- perhaps overpolished also.

I have several examples of clad Kennedy halves in late-die state, but none this extreme. Pretty cool.
